Here’s why we love this venue:

  • Historic Charm: This beautifully restored 19th-century church complex, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features intricate wood paneling and an original chandelier.

  • Dance Floor: A spacious, smooth surface perfect for dancing.

  • Outstanding Sound: The soaring theater space creates exceptional acoustics for live music.

  • Convenient Parking: Ample on-site parking makes coming and going easy.

  • Mezzanine: Step up to the balcony for a breather from the dance floor, but still enjoy the view from above.

  • Cozy Conversation Spaces: Several side rooms open into the theater, perfect for mingling and connecting with fellow dancers.

  • Quiet Zones: Need a moment to regroup? The venue has several spaces away from the action where you can stretch, craft, or simply relax.

  • Prime Location: Just minutes from downtown Indy, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and places to explore nearby.

We can’t wait to see everyone dancing and connecting in this stunning venue—it's going to be amazing.

Here’s why we love this venue:

  • Unique Building: According to their website, “it’s not a place, it’s a vibe.” This wonderfully preserved 19th-century community center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features intricate wood paneling, is home to a cafe, and works about the German-American cultural history of Indianapolis.

  • Wooden Floor: A spacious, smooth surface perfect for dancing.

  • Cozy Spaces: The building houses both a coffee shop (Coat Check Coffee) and a restaurant (The Rathskeller), as well as several open seating areas.

  • Quiet Areas: Need a moment to regroup? The Max Kade Director’s Room will be available during the event as a quiet area.

  • Central Location: At the edge of Mass Ave in Indy- an area full of restaurants, cafes, and local intrigue. Many of our local fare options are located on the same street!

We are excited to expand the event in its second year with a secondary lesson venue and host our late night dances in this unique space!
